Exactsoft acquires UNIBANX

Exactsoft Technologies Inc. announces that it has expanded its worldwide activities by acquiring from Cogicom Corporation, UNIBANX, its wealth management software solution and successor of Bank/X as well as its international client base. Through this acquisition, effective as of July 31st, 2004, Exactsoft obtains a presence in over 10 locations situated in the Caribbean Islands, Europe, and Western Africa.

Yves Guertin, president and CEO of Exactsoft, claims that this transaction is part of an ongoing strategy to enlarge the company's suite of business solutions by increasing the number of vertical markets addressed. The added strength and opportunities that come with this change will allow the customers to benefit from a larger multidisciplinary team of professionals and a world-class company that is still committed to providing high-quality software and services. This acquisition provides a key opportunity for the company to enter the international market.

Cogicom will now focus on the development, support and commercialization of Investar, a wealth management solution designed specifically for the Canadian market.
